Checklist to support your event ~ things you'll need to bring and other information ~ please read, consider each statement before ticking the boxes *

All meals, snacks & beverages will be provided. Please feel free to bring special foods etc for yourself if you'd like to.

Check Google map link for location and journey times.

Check start & finish times.

Please bring a BackJack or low seat, cushion/blankets/sheepskin etc to make a cosy space for you to sit in the group space.

Please bring a notebook.

Please bring a pen and/or coloured pencils/pens etc.

Please wear comfortable clothing and bring anything else that would help you to feel safe, cosy & comfortable - eg waterproofs & boots for walking, hot water bottles etc

Please bring a water bottle for the group space if you'd like one.

Bedding at Brimpts is pretty basic so you're welcome to bring your own duvet and pillow if you'd like to.

The mugs at Brimpts are small so you're welcome to bring your own mug if you'd like to.

Please bring outdoor clothing and boots if you like to go walking during the breaks.

Please bring swimear if you enjoy using the hot tub.

I agree to pay £790 before or on 6th October 2025 unless I have made arrangements with Kate to pay in instalments.

Having requested a place on this retreat I am committed to attending therefore agree to pay the full fee if for any reason I have to cancel my place after 26th September, unless a suitable replacement can be found.

I agree to adhere to advertised start & finish times.

I agree to refrain from using alcohol or recreational drugs at least 24 hours prior to the retreat.

I agree to refrain from bringing any alcohol or recreational drugs to the retreat.

I agree to take full responsibility for any consequences that may arise during and after the event if I fail to disclose the requested medical information and action.

To support a depth of trust, intimacy, safety and containment, I agree to attend and participate in all group sessions, which includes staying in the group space.

I agree to ask Kate for help during the sessions if I'm feeling triggered or if I'm struggling with any aspect of the retreat.

I agree to refrain from using digital devices for the entire retreat - except in an emergency. No devices at all to be used in the group room & public spaces.

I agree to refrain from wearing strong perfumes/aftershaves.

I agree to take full responsibility for my belongings during and after the retreat.

I agree to take full responsibility for my personal wellbeing during and after this event.

I agree to take full responsibility for my actions, choices, & decisions (or lack of) during and after this event.

I understand that this is a group learning environment, which means Kate does not have the therapeutic resources to cater for anyone with past or present diagnosis of Schizophrenia and/or Psychosis. If you have such a history Kate recommends you do not take part in the workshop. If I choose to ignore this advice and attend without disclosing my situation to Kate, I take full responsibility for any consequences arising connected to mental health during and after the event.

I agree to understanding that as well as illuminating new and wonderful possibilities for my life, the process is likely to touch old wounds and bring up painful emotions.

I agree to respect the confidentially of other participants by not disclosing their name or participation in this event to anyone outside of the event.

I agree to refrain from discussing, or in any way commenting on, or interfering with, the process of others, both during and after the retreat - trusting that if they need support they will ask for it. There are very good reasons for this, so your cooperation is appreciated.
